Well, there I was in the Tiffin Room of Raffles Hotel a few days ago, enjoying High Tea. I may have entered by the side door with everyone else, but I made a point of leaving by way of the lobby of the hotel and front door, which is reserved strictly for those who are staying at Raffles Hotel. I had a great corner table to enjoy all of the sights of the Tiffin Room. I chose the High Tea to a Singapore Sling at the Long Bar, once I heard the ingredients of a Singapore Sling. Too sweet for me! It was also a welcome relief to be out of the heat and humidity of the noon day sun in Singapore. Now that I am in Bangkok, I am aware of the comfort of the weather there than here! The heat and humidity in Bangkok are exceptional! Anyway, back to more photos from beautiful Singapore...
| The interior perimeter of the hotel is a maze of of interior courtyards which is open to the public, just don't try to go through the front door of the hotel! |
| Enjoy the view of the lobby of Raffles Hotel because unless you are a guest you will not get to see it! |
