Do you think he tossed a coin into the Trevi Fountain to assure his next visit to Rome? Fr. Michael Broderick, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Whitinsville, arrived yesterday for a week's stay in Rome. From the photo above, he sure does not look like he got off the plane a few hours earlier after an 9 hour journey. I met Michael at St. Peter's Square, then we walked about for a short time before stopping for a glass of wine at Piazza Navona, then another at Piazza della Rotunda, before going to a restaurant near the Trevi Fountain for dinner. It was a wonderful evening! It is so good to see him.
