Greetings from Budapest (Hungary)

After a 7 hour delightful train ride from Munich, I arrived in Budapest at 5:00 PM.  During the train ride, I met Ottilie Schawe, a psychologist from Munich, who was on her way to a conference in Vienna.  She was seated across from me, and we talked for most of the trip from Munich to Vienna.  Since I will be in Vienna on Tuesday, we arranged to have dinner together that night.  [I still had another 3 hour train ride ahead of me after stopping at the train station in Vienna.)  Tonight, I had dinner with Esther's cousin, Gabor, who is a real estate attorney in Budapest.  I just returned from a wonderful dinner with him at a restaurant in the historic district of Budapest.  Now I am exhausted and going to bed, but I did want to post a few pictures from the train ride.  More to come from Budapest...

Aboard the Munich to Budapest train, last stop is the main train station, Keleti, in Budapest.  The train arrived at 4:49 PM  (16:49 European time).  I was in Wagon 25 of the train, as you can see in the top right of the screen on the train which announced all of the stops.
